Bo Jackson
Bo Jackson is a legendary athlete known for his exceptional careers in both baseball and football. He was born on November 30, 1962, in Bessemer, Alabama.

Bo Jackson was a standout baseball player who was selected by the Kansas City Royals as the first overall pick in the 1986 Major League Baseball (MLB) draft. He quickly became known for his powerful hitting and incredible speed. He made his MLB debut with the Royals in 1986, and during his baseball career, he played primarily as an outfielder. His most iconic moment in baseball came in the 1989 All-Star Game when he hit a monstrous home run and was named the game's MVP. Unfortunately, a hip injury sustained during a football game would ultimately cut short his promising baseball career, and he retired from baseball in 1994.
In addition to his baseball career, Bo Jackson was a star running back in the National Football League (NFL). He was drafted by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the first round of the 1986 NFL Draft but refused to play for them due to a dispute over his baseball career. Subsequently, he was drafted by the Los Angeles Raiders (now the Las Vegas Raiders) in the 7th round of the same draft. Bo Jackson made his NFL debut in 1987 and quickly gained a reputation for his incredible speed and power. He is perhaps best known for his electrifying 91-yard touchdown run against the Seattle Seahawks in 1987. Unfortunately, a hip injury sustained in a playoff game in 1991 ended his football career, and he never returned to the NFL.

Bo Jackson's unique ability to excel in two professional sports made him a sports icon. Despite his relatively short careers in both baseball and football due to injuries, he is remembered as one of the greatest athletes of all time and a true multi-sport legend.
